For many years, laser technology has proven its versatility, particularly in laser engraving and marking applications on metal surfaces. Thanks to the laser it is possible to quickly create extremely precise and clearly legible markings, not only on soft metals such as aluminum, but also on copper, brass, steel or very hard alloys. With some metals, such as steel alloys, it is also possible to make corrosion resistant markings without damaging the surface structure. Laser marking of metal products is widespread in most industrial sectors: the applications range from the marking of industrial products made in series to allow their traceability, to the personalization of promotional items with logos or names.
